This week we are hosting a group of adult educators for a job shadowing programme focused on entrepreneurship in adult education, intergenerational collaboration, and digital innovation ๐
Day 1 was all about setting the tone.
We started with an introduction to ICDET and THE SP@CE ecosystem — exploring how we work as an alternative adult education model where adults and young professionals collaborate on real startup challenges.
But we didn’t stay in presentation mode for long ๐
Our youth facilitators took the lead in the simulation “From Skill to Income”, where teachers stepped into the role of entrepreneurs. In just 90 minutes, they had to transform a personal skill into a clear offer, define a customer, set a price, and plan a real 72-hour validation action. No theory. Only action.
The session sparked powerful discussions about:
๐น Authority and youth leadership
๐น Adult mindset and risk-taking
๐น The importance of clarity and execution
๐น Learning through structured discomfort
We also ensured language support and inclusive participation so everyone could engage confidently and fully.
The week has officially started with energy, reflection, and a strong entrepreneurial vibe ๐ก
More insights coming soon as we continue exploring validation, digital ecosystems, and adult mindset transformation. Stay tuned!
