Today our participants took their first steps into the world of Design Thinking — a methodology that helps transform ideas into solutions that truly respond to users' needs.
The session explored the core principles of Design Thinking, including the Double Diamond model and the five key stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Participants discovered why successful technology projects start with understanding people rather than writing code.
During the hands-on workshop, they worked on identifying real challenges within their environment, creating empathy maps, analysing user needs, and formulating "How Might We..." questions that will guide the development of their future startup concepts.
As aspiring software developers, they also explored an important lesson: great technology is not just about coding—it is about solving real problems for real people. The workshop challenged them to think beyond software architecture and focus on creating solutions with impact.
Today's activities mark the beginning of their startup discovery journey, where observation, empathy, and creativity will help shape innovative ideas for the weeks ahead.
